TIL...
- 07/03/2025 - The Jerma virus (!): It eats bacteria. Apparently now known as Daze. Cowards.
- 03/02/2025 - All CDC datasets uploaded before January 28th, 2025: A lot of this info doesn't exist on the CDC website anymore...
- 23/01/2025 - Retro AIM Server: Remember the very first entry on this page? This is that, only it's open source.
- 13/01/2025 - "The Bad Quarto": A hilariously inaccurate transcription of Hamlet.
- 26/06/2024 - The Sun is a massive antenna: I don't really understand this but apparently it'll allow NASA to use a hypothetical Voyager 3 to take high resolution pictures of exoplanets or receive livestreams from Alpha Centauri (if there's anything that can livestream there)... sometime within the next century. Still cool, though.
- 20/06/2024 - vox-gpl-vodafone/@/vodafone.com: Emailing this address will allow you to obtain the source code for FOSS programs used in Vodafone routers.
- 17/06/2024 - Hashtag remover for Misskey: Exactly what it says on the tin. A plugin for Misskey (and derivatives) that removes hashtags from posts. Optionally, it can also display them as postscript Tumblr style.
- 11/06/2024 - GK Music Ultraphones (!): The guts of a set of audio production headphones shoved into a set of industrial ear defenders. Meant for drummers, but I find the idea cool as someone with sensory issues as well.
- 07/06/2024 - Godzilla, King of the Monsters (1956): The original American release of Godzilla (1954), featuring heavy localisation including an entirely new viewpoint character played by Richard Burr.
- 06/06/2024 - CustomTube and YouTube Redux: Browser extensions that allow you to change the layout of YouTube or revert it to an older one (partially, anyway).

- 04/06/2024 - OpenRGB: A set of open source drivers for configuring RGB lighting without proprietary software.
- 03/06/2024 - Apotris: An open source, extremely cutomisable Tetris clone that runs on almost anything.
- 03/06/2024 - GNU Guix: Pronounced "Geeks". A purely functional package manager inspired by Nix and the Linux distribution that surrounds it - probably the closest the world will ever come to a full GNU system.
- 31/05/2024 - Escargot: A revival project for MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger, allowing their use in the modern day. Also see NINA, a revival project for AIM, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, classic AOL and Quantum Link by many of the same developers.
